UPDATE ON LESTER Lester is a dog who was rescued by Animal Services along with his three brothers in January of this year. They were starving and living on chains in a backyard. Despite their life history all four dogs remained quite friendly and exceedingly eager to be with people. The three other dogs have since been adopted. However Lester is still patiently waiting at the bus stop hoping his person will get off see him and realize they were made for each other and together they will walk off into the sunset of a loving and permanent home.Lester is a two to three year old Pitt Bull Boxer mix. He is brindle in color with a large white collar marking. He is an exuberant love bug of a dog. His most fervent goal in life seems to be just to become someone s genuine companion dog. Finally.While Lester awaits his homecoming another foster person for him is also urgently needed. His current foster s work hours are far from sufficient for giving Lester the attention he needs and that he deserves until he can go to his forever home.Please do come down to Petsmart on Iron Point Rd. in Folsom usually on Sundays (but not always) and meet Lester. It s the bus stop where he hangs out.
