EMT or Paramedic: Call Center Job Full Time Days/Evenings - Comp

Transfer Center EMT Current EMT certification. High school diploma or GED equivalency. Mini Emergency Medical Dispatch experience a plus. Responsible for accepting and tracking all hospital transfers and transports. Must have some understanding of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including diplomatic and friendly telephone manner and use of professional vocabulary. Ability to self manage by taking responsibility to initiate assess and take action as well as ability to function calmly in stressful situations. Customer service oriented positive enthusiastic helpful personality. Knowledge of EMTALA and state regulations related to patient transfers a plus. Basic computer skills required.
