MECHANICAL DRAFTERDESIGNER (Spokane)

MSI is looking for an additional drafter and or designer to join our team We are an established mechanical engineering firm located in the heart of downtown Spokane Washington. Our office focuses on producing top quality work in a fun laid back environment. In this role you will work with both AutoCAD and Revit MEP to provide drafting and modeling support to our mechanical engineers as they design building systems (HVAC plumbing etc.). You ll be responsible for production tasks from a wide range of clients (healthcare government education industrial and commercial) and have the opportunity to move into a design role if your interests and skills align. Qualifications - 1 years experience with AutoCAD MEP & Revit MEP - Able to follow and retain directions and work in a team environment - Two-year technical degree minimum - Experience working on Revit families creation and parametric work - Works from written or verbal instructions and detailed sketches with some latitude for independent action prepares readable accurate detailed drawings - Verifies own completed work. - Uses AutoCAD to create and modify 2D or 3D drawings - Knowledge of Xrefs and AIA Layering - Candidate must excel at 3D spatial thinking - Performs other duties as assigned or required MSI offers competitive compensation and benefits including Medical Dental Life Disability coverage and an Employer Matching Retirement Plan to all of our full-time employees.
