Meet Flynn. This beautiful guy is an 85-pound 1-year-old lab Great Pyrenees mix. Flynn is like many dogs who need a moment to get used to new people and after the warm up phase is over Flynn has made a new friend. As we have been told Flynn won t ever be the life of the party but he makes up for that with his loyalty and love.Flynn is excellent with other dogs. He goes to Dogwood for doggie day care and plays with everyone. The only dog he doesn t like is the little terrier neighbor who picks on poor Flynn. Flynn has been raised around kids as young as 4. Flynn enjoys playtime with kids and voluntarily gets in on the fun. We don t think a home with cats would be a good idea. Flynn has a high prey drive for small critters like rabbits and squirrels.And now for the reason the handsome Flynn needs a new home. Poor Flynn has developed an allergy to the crops at the family s home. They have tried good-quality food and allergy meds (Apoquel) but it isn t keep the itching at bay. Flynn needs a city home where he won t have to worry about pesky plants that set his allergies in overdrive. Flynn is a well-behaved but still silly puppy-like big boy. He knows basic commands does well on leash and enjoys car rides. Flynn has great housemanners-- he is housebroken and crate trained and does not get on furniture.
