Meet Gia Gia is a super-sweet five-year-old pit bull terrier mix who was surrendered to a high-kill shelter when her owner could no longer provide for her. The person who adopted her passed away and Gia is now back with her original foster mama. This adorable girl holds no grudges though and is just thankful to be alive She loves to be part of the family and is always excited to see what exciting adventures the day holds She s the total package -- wonderful with both adults and older kids and gets along great with other dogs and even cats (after a short adjustment period). She currently lives with four other pittie mixes and one cattle dog along with several cats. Because Gia can be nervous and shy around small children a home with teenagers or older adults would be best. Gia is a calm girl who loves the simple things in life -- car rides rawhide bones stuffed toys and frozen Kongs. She is house- and crate-trained and excelled during her pit bull socialization agility class.
