Grover - Male Dachshund Mix

Wanted Warm lap for small black dachshund mix to curl up in. Must offer a gentle hand for petting and playful hand with my chew toys. A nice soft blanket would be nice too. I am a shy little boy who will warm up quickly to humans if you are patient with me. My foster mom thinks I am just about perfect....on top of being this cute I m potty trained great with kids (adults please train your kiddos not to be too rough with me) and I only chew on my toys. I am probably not a great dog for you if you re looking for a companion for your current dog as other dogs intimidate me a bit. Oh and I am afraid of cats. They scare me so I may not do best in a home with a feline. My true love is for my humans. I would do great in a family with people who are at home a good bit and have time to spend with me. I am happy with a couple nice walks a day and someone to snuggle with. I would really like to snuggle with you at night and will do my best to curl up under the covers with you I am also doing well on outings. My foster family has taken me to a few outdoor caf s and I just sit and watch the people while they enjoy their dinner. I may bark at another dog if they are near but that s only because they intimidate me a bit. As for my humans once I am attached I think they are the greatest Give me a warm lap to snuggle in and I am a happy boy.... More Info
