Axel is a lovely confident puppy who needs a family with lots of training in mind to help him grow into a top-notch companion. He is strong and big and likes to jump on people so his best home will be one with sturdy dog-savvy children over 10 who won t fall down when he jumps on them. Puppies grow quickly and this one will probably get to be about 60 pounds. He is also an energetic player with other dogs. At this point his play style needs a little refinement but with some guidance he will be a delight. Small dogs will be intimidated by his size and forward approach so his playmates should be carefully chosen to have a similar play style.As he grows Axel will need plenty of exercise to keep him tired and out of trouble. A long morning walk is a great way to start. Encourage his fledgling interest in balls and a game of fetch will be another outlet for his energy. Start a family habit of after dinner walks to round out the day.
