Kids and cats TBD.GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Look out world Mulligan has a second chance Mulligan is a big sweet boy who wasn t treated well by his first family but he got a do-over and is searching for a better one this time. He s a very handsome boy approximately 7 years old just under 100 lbs. He s got soulful eyes and a beautiful red and black coat. He s still learning his name and what it s like to live in a home but the trust and love he shows is amazing. Mulli does not really engage with his foster sisters so probably doesn t need to have a companion dog but he seems to get along with every dog he s met. He is not food aggressive but is very food motivated. He has shown interest in items on the table and counters and is tall enough to get his nose where it doesn t belong. He takes correction well so with time and patience he ll learn proper dog behavior.He has a little hitch in his walk that X-rays showed is the result of a broken pelvis (hit by a car ) that didn t heal correctly (no signs of hip dysplasia ). He s also lost the last couple of inches of his tail (maybe the same accident ). His back legs are underdeveloped probably due to the old injury and lack of exercise so he has struggled with stairs and hardwood floors. But in the 2 weeks he s been at his foster home he s made huge improvements. We think with good food and consistent exercise he ll keep continue to get stronger.
