Winston is a wonderful younger dog looking for a loving home Winston came to us with a severe case of mange and it took about 4 months to really get that cleared up. Mange is not a death sentence for a dog it only happened because his previous owner neglected him. Mange is caused mostly by stress and unclean living space - his mange was unreal. We took him in because his skin was in so much pain and it was flakey and bleeding. Not much medication is needed for mange treatment except some topical skin care. Over the 4 months he was in treatment he got medicated baths every other day as well as coconut skin care regimens etc. Now his hair is grown back and he is doing wonderfully Winston recovered so quickly because of the love of his foster mom. He has become a little social butterfly attends events with the rescue plays with other dogs and doesn t mind cats.
