Hello I am seeking a supportive loving and caring forever-home for my small senior purebred long-haired Chihuahua. Jackson is 9 years old about 9 inches tall weighs approximately 8 pounds and has a gorgeous golden coat with Irish markings (white chest paws and blaze on forehead). He is a healthy (neutered and vaccinated) indoor dog with lots of love to give. Jackson is a loyal companion and an excellent watch dog. With his primary caregiver and family members Jackson is sweet affectionate and protective. Unfamiliar situations and people make Jackson anxious and may cause him to withdraw or become defensive (i.e. growl bark). Jackson enjoys playing with his Lambchop squeaky toy and curling up to sunbathe by the window. Jackson has experience with big families and young children but may be better suited for a family with older or no children. He is ideally suited for an older single woman.
