Operator II Job Description Operate heavy motorized equipment used in utility construction including but not limited to trenchers dozers scraper loaders excavator etc. and other equipment to support a variety of operations for utility construction. May dig trench lines and pits for setting manholes and handholes Gather and load dirt and waste products from job sites onto trucks. Transport to appropriate location. Operate water tanker and similar equipment for dust control and dirt compaction. Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
