Abby - Female Dachshund Mix

Hi my name is Abby I am a 2 year old Dachshund mix. I know a lady shouldn t talk about her weight but I weigh about 13 pounds. I came to Puppy Pals Rescue from Kentucky. Since being at PPR I have been spayed received all my shots been heartworm and fecal tested and have been micro chipped. I did test positive for Lyme Disease and Hook Worm. My foster mom gives me my medicine for it and says I m great when it comes to taking it. I shouldn t have any problems with either once my medicine is gone but it will be very important for me to be on heartworm preventative My foster mom says she s jealous of how pretty my red coat is. I m pretty calm and laid back but I do occasionally play with one of my foster sisters. My favorite pastime is taking naps in my foster mom s lap. I ve been working hard on my potty training. I have had a few accidents but I ve been doing better I would do well in a house with or without other dogs. A fenced in yard would be great so that I could keep working on my potty training . My foster mom doesn t think I spent much time on a leash in my past. She s been working with me on it but it s still strange to me.
