Meet McKenzie a beautiful grey and white girl who s a bit needy at the moment and asks for plenty of attention with body rubs head bumps and purring. She has quite a wide range of vocalizations from soft meows to trills and chirps- all designed to express her current state of mind. McKenzie has lived previously in a home with adults two very young children and one other cat. She has no experience with dogs and was not very tolerant around the toddlers. She will thrive as the sole focus of all the love and attention she can receive from her adoptive family either with adults of any age or with a family whose children are over age 10. Because McKenzie may be a bit tentative when she first arrives give her a small space to call her own for a while until she feels safe and relaxed. She will want frequent visits from all family members to be comforted and reassured as she makes the adjustment to her life with you. Once she seems comfortable allow her to gradually explore other rooms in the home keep the way open for her to return to her familiar space whenever she feels the need.Although McKenzie may need a little extra time to overcome her insecurity she will reward your gentle patience with love and affectionate companionship for years to come.
