UPDATE We now know that Smokey is female and she s bonded to Mr. Vivian (another survivor of pigeon racing). They are available for adoption together.Smokey is a very lucky survivor of pigeon racing. He was injured but fortunate to get taken to an animal shelter where he received antibiotics for his wounds. He was unclaimed and had no where to go when timed out at the shelter so we made room to take him in to our foster care.
