Hello I m Pineapple (on the right). I was just a baby king pigeon minding my own little business when I was yanked out of my nest and taken to market to be sold (and killed and eaten) as squab. Somehow I ended up at the SFACC and was named Pineapple and when I was once again going to be killed (as surplus ) I was rescued by MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue. I am SO lucky I was rescued with another little baby pigeon (Petey) and we are safe and growing up fast. King pigeons are domestic and we can t be released- we need to be adopted and to have a good safe home. We are smart and have great interpersonal skills.
