A volunteer writes It did not take long for me to get to like Kane. He is an energetic happy go lucky and attractive guy who presented at first to us as a very scared big mouse ...True that he owns a sensitive soul as per his owners comments. Kane indeed would need to warm up a little with new people or situations. He does not like loud noises etc...Well coming to the care center was no doubt a big shock to him but he is recoverring and this is all what really counts...Kane is a gorgeous dog and a mix of a number of breeds. I see a Rotweiler a Labrador and a Beauceron and I bet you might even see something else...He has been beautifully cared for is the picture of health the perfect weight and owns a magnificent coat with vibrant colors. He has the greatest smile and very engaging eyes that would earn him a job as a successful advertising agent. Kane could sell you anything he wants to... Kane pulls on the leash and does his business on the way. He seems fine with other dogs met on the street or in playgroups. Free in a pen he comes right away when called sits on command comes on the lap and kisses without being asked....mostly when you have fed him tasty treats right before. Indeed Kane loves food....Kane relinquished into our care because of housing issues comes with great recommendations. High energy very playful exuberant with adults but gentle with children great with his little Yorkie housemate free of handling issues and non destructive(except of his toys) when left alone in the house. Kane is an awesome dog who made a quick turn around for the best after his arrival at the care center. Imagine him in your house with new people new settings and new rules....This smart guy has great adaptation and survival skills and will be your best pal in no time in your experienced hands.
