Wanda is a very lucky pigeon. She s a survivor of the sport of pigeon racing. When she was struck by a hawk she survived the attack and then when she was on the ground wounded she was found by a kind person who took her to an animal shelter that doesn t adopt out birds (it s either rescue or euthanasia). She was very lucky her wounds healed she was taken into rescue and now she is safe and won t have to worry about being exploited anymore.
