Zeco - Male Macaw

Zeco is one handsome Blue & Gold macaw who just happens to like a little extra skin showing. He s been with TGF for several years and was relinquished to us when his owner moved and decided that he could not move too. He s very social good with a variety of people and has a robust appetite. He s missing some of parts of his toes from old injuries most likely in the nestbox prior to coming to us. He will step up but we think he likes the security of gripping on to a towel because it s less wobbly and slippery that skin on the hand or arm. He is used to being around other parrots and macaws and so deserves a home. He s comfortable in a travel carrier likes to go for car rides and can sit outside with his family and take in the Vitamin D. Just be careful of a sunburn since he doesn t have feathers to protect his skin. If he can go on ground walk-abouts even better for him as it s excellent exercise for his feet and legs.
