In Living Support Corporate Office230 Northland Blvd. Ste 135Cincinnati OH 45246Job Title Accounting Assistant Schedule Full-Time Mon - Fri 8am - 5pmLocation Corporate OfficeApplication Close Date Until Position is FilledReports To Sedra Taylor Position Overview The Accounting Assistant is responsible for performing accounting and administrative tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payables and also accounts receivables.Essential Job Functions (A P) Review sort and match invoices and check requests. Process payables for vendor invoices wire transfers ACH payments and check requests. Investigate and resolve invoice exceptions. Prepare monthly reconciliation and month end reporting.Essential Job Functions (A R) Maintain an up-to-date billing system to include A R customer files. Carry out billing collection and other reporting activities according to any deadline dates. Monitor customer account details for delayed and or non-payments. Process adjustments and prepare bank deposits. Investigate and resolve any exceptions.Non-essential Job Functions 1-3 years of general A P and A R experience and bookkeeping. Proficient with QuickBooks and MS Office (Word Excel Outlook). Attention to detail and accuracy. Great interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to identify problems and the ability to provide the correct solutions. Ability to handle stress and have strong negotiation skills. ConfidentialityRequirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or equivalent preferred. Must provide a criminal background check.
