This is Indy a charming Terrier Mix with a snaggletooth smile and wiry hair that is sure to put a grin on your face. This little guy may seem shy and sensitive at first but after you spend some time with him he will warm up and be a wonderful companion for an adult home or with a family with older children. Indy is about 6 years old and as you can imagine shelter life has been challenging to him. He was very reserved and skittish when he first arrived but with the help of our volunteers he has certainly come out of his shell. He has gained some weight and has shown independence and curiosity when in the play yard. Indy has a very expressive face and you can certainly tell when he is having a good time. Funny thing about Indy is that he thinks he is larger than his actual size. Indy would benefit to be enrolled into training classes or personal one on one attention as he is not afraid to nip at larger dogs so dog park situations would have to be approached with care and patience. Smaller dogs and cats could be included in his family with proper introduction and supervision.
