My Dogs Need Good Homes

I am downsizing to an apartment and my two dogs need good homes.I have a pit bull and a pitbull lab.The pit bull I am most concerned about. She was my brothers dog who served in Iraq and I believe she acquired some of his problems while she was with him. He went into rehab and she was left at his house alone (in Texas) waiting on his return so I went to get her. She is VERY loyal and needs someone who is preferably home all the time although I have trained her to stay on a leash during the day and in a cage at night (she looks forward to treats). She is very scared of the rain and thunderstorms and will try to get out of her cage to be near you. If you leave the house she is ok outside but if you put her in a cage inside she will escape and may chew up things (from anxiety). So it is best if she has room to play outside. She has been fixed has a chip and had a rabies shot. My brother gave her shots in Texas. She is full blood although I do not have access to paperwork. She has ALWAYS been good around my children but I do not recommend her to be around children as I am not completely aware of her temperament. She is VERY possessive over her food and gets upset when another dog is near (though I have worked with her on this-she has gotten better). She seems to suffer from PTSD and anxiety so in general needs a 24 7 companion if possible. I have taken her to the dog park but I only put her in the small dog area when other dogs are not in it. She was not raised around other dogs and was almost killed by a much larger dog once. So she is still a little anti-social. Her name is Soldier. My second dog is a pitbulll lab mix. She is so friendly though full of a ton of energy. She loves everybody and everything. She LOVES going to the dog park and swimming and playing with other dogs. She would be fine around children although she does jump and play kind of rough so small children I would not recommend. She preferably needs a fenced in yard though has become used to her chain during the days. She loves to get go to bed early (in her cage) so she can get lots of special treats For the most part she is house trained but will pee if has not been taken out in a long while. She is fixed with shots a chip and rabies. Her name is Butterscotch. Please call 865-805-3278 or 865-230-6821 and leave a message if you have a good home for either of my dogs. We will be moving soon.
