My name is Captain. When I was saved by The Gabriel Foundation I was with my BBFF (best birdie friends forever Ernie. But my buddy died in September 2013 most likely as the result of two strokes according to his veterinarian. I was very protective of him because he needed my help some days. I was sad when he went to the Rainbow Bridge but with all of the wonderful people at TGF I am feeling a lot better. I know that Ernie is forever free now and it s his turn to watch over me. Both of us came to TGF from a hoarding and cruelty situation with 111 birds in 2009. I am interested in people and outgoing though I need some training on stepping up. I would really like to live in a home where I can be together with humans and maybe some other birds.
