Buttercup was found wandering the streets of Houston very pregnant. She was brought here to Illinois Animal Rescue by one of our volunteers and had her seven puppies in a safe and loving foster home. Buttercup was a wonderful mother. All 7 of her puppies grew up strong and healthy and are being adopted to their forever homes. Buttercup has not been so lucky. She has heartworm and is beginning her treatment now that her puppies are old enough. She is a sweet and loving dog to kids and other pets. She is a sweet and loving dog to kids and other pets. She lives in a foster home with multiple dogs & cats but when she meets new dogs it takes her time to warm up. Give this sweet girl time to get to know the new dog & they will be come best of friends. She need a forever home to give her all the love she deserves.
