Meet Rosie. Like a fine wine Rosie gets sweeter with age. Rosie was shut down all alone in the medical ward after being turned into the shelter as a stray. Not the place for this beautiful friendly tail-wagging little gal who will steal your heart. She was turned in wearing a pretty pink collar with rhinestones so someone somewhere loved her. But Rosie is no longer a young pup so perhaps her family turned her in or didn t go looking for her. We ll never know. We do know that languishing alone and scared in a shelter is not how Rosie s story is going to end Sure she doesn t walk as well as she did as a teen and her hearing isn t quite as sharp but we all get older and Rosie is aging gracefully and still has lots of loving and living to do. Rosie is a loving low-key girl looking for a BFF to be near. Rosie is not needy nor a nuisance barker. In fact she has yet to bark in her foster home. She is a quiet gal who just wants to be cared for and loved. She doesn t require long walks or a lot of play time. She is content to hang out with and watch her person do most of the work Rosie is potty-trained and crate trained and lives with other dogs and gets along with them all. She s pretty independent and mostly does her own thing. As a result Rosie will also do well as an only dog. Rosie enjoys walks and is perfect on a leash she is also great in the car. She loves the simple things in life like yummy treats and a soft bed We believe Rosie is about 11 years young a Maltese and Cocker Spaniel mix. She weighs 17 lbs. Rosie requires very little but will give you so much love. Will you return her love and give her the life she deserves Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
