This is Ranger s story From his rescuer I named him Ranger because of his tendency to go around to every campsite (where I found him) twice a day...morning and evening and sort of check in. He never intruded unless invited which most people did People respond so well to him which makes me think he would be a good member of the family. Ranger is house broken crate trained and loves to go on car rides. He knows sit and down and a belly rubs are his absolute favorite. Because of his exuberance and size he might not do well with very little children although with proper training he would be a good family dog. He does not have the one-person-only loyalty issue. Ranger has been working on his leash manners but due to his strength would do well with someone able to handle a large dog. Ranger loves to play tug-a-war with toys and especially likes chew toys ...
