Say hello to Beta Beta is a happy wiggly big lovebug She has been with us a month and a half and we suspect that she s getting overlooked because she tends to bark and jump around in her kennel when people or other dogs walk by. BUT when we took Beta out we were pleasantly surprised to discover she is actually a very well-mannered and trained dog Beta came in to our facility as a stray with a micro chip and although the number on the chip was called no 1 called us back or came to pick up Beta. It s obvious though that whoever had Beta before she came to the shelter took some time to train her. Beta knows sit (that s an easy one) and will stop if she starts pulling too hard on the leash and you tell her to heel Most impressively if you click your fingers twice Beta will lay down and stay She won t move even if you walk off until you tell her okay.
