Hello My name is Morgan and I am a 5 yr old female Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure. I found myself at the shelter when my previous family had to move and could not take me along. I am very hesitant of new people handling and caring for me. The dedicated staff at the Humane Society are trying to teach me that strangers are okay but this will definitely take some time. Like many birds I can be very defensive when I am scared and I can bite. If you know anything about us Green Cheek Conures it s that we are quite popular for many reasons We can live up to 30 yrs so I really need someone that is willing to dedicate that much time to me. We require fresh fruits and vegetables daily and can not thrive solely on commercial bird seeds. Us Green Cheeks tend to be big birds in little bodies as we are known for our bravery. Without adequate enrichment and stimulation we can be prone to feather picking. We are quieter than our other Conure cousins and would fit into a variety of different households....
