I have seen and heard from clients my photos on other sites to draw in people like yourself or they say they are tica registered but have fake tica papers I even here so many people sending money and never get a kitten at all. Be careful out there. I recently went to look at a Bengal kitten (because if I get a call to do a photo shoot but only have 3 of mine own kittens available and need one more I look at other breeders to see if they have one available) I ask the breeder if the picture posted was the kitten I was going to see she said yes. When I got to the house I wasn t suprised that it was not the same kitten and aslo saw the picture belonging to another cattery. The kitten was so wild she had to catch the kitten under the couch and it was not happy scratch me as it jumped out of my hand. It was very wild and could not hold it. It took off under the couch to hide. I feel very sorry for the kitten it was afraid. Sometimes you get told your getting a purebred Bengal but may look like one. When a Queen is in heat she wants to breed they are very smart and patient and will wait for the opportunity to dart out when that door opens so she can find a mate to breed with. A male can smell a female queen when she is in heat from blocks away they will find her and she will find him. A Queen can breed to more then 3 or 4 males in one heat so you can have different bloodline and different color kittens or a tabby that looks like a Bengal and be told it is a pure Bengal and pay the price of a Bengal. If you see kittens for 500 comes with out tica papers that may be why. This has never happened to me thank goodness but I have my studs available when ready. So be aware of the many want to be breeders that are not experienced and may not have healthy bloodlines and have illnesses you can t see and internal problems like heart murmurs kinks in the tail or deformities like cleft palate or other many other problems in your pets life from in-home breeding. In home breeding is where breeders will breed brother and sister or dad and daughter and later vet bills will exceed the cost of your kitten if gets sick from poor bloodlines. Please if you see kittens with no tica papers they probably bought as a pet and have breached Breeders contracts by not spaying them and they breed them to strays. Please let us know if you see these people out there it s for your protection in not getting scammed. We don t want to flood the market with mixed bloodlines and produce unhealthy look a like Bengal kittens.To avoid scams you can call and get pictures of the kitten you are interested in and video even this can be an old video so have them mark the date on a pice of paper as they take the picture or video. Make sure they get good side view pictures of the kitten to see their markings.
