Ava is a Thoroughbred mare approx 15.3 hh born April 11 1999. Her race name was Ava Marisa. This loveable girl enjoys attention likes to be groomed and stands well for the veterinarian and farrier. Ava has been ridden at Lollypop but just underwent evaluation with a trainer.Notes from the trainer Ava is a 16yr old off the track Thoroughbred. She has just finished two months of retraining and is ready for her new career. Ava would excel in the hunter jumper arena as she is a lovely mover on the flat and enjoys going over fences. She is very willing and will do well in any discipline. Ava stands nice on cross ties for the farrier loves being groomed and is excellent in a wash stall. Ava has been started out on the trails and has been very bold and willing to go out alone. At this time Ava would be best suited with an intermediate rider that has a coach available to help. Ava doesn t have a mean bone in her body but she is still learning what her new job is supposed to be....
