Scroll thru description for contact info Or you may email -X(at)gmail.com for pet info Have pity on this poor kitty Tipsy 16418 - Cream buff Tabby Flame Point - This is really a heartbreaking story for this kitty---Tipsy is an 11 yr old male cat who had herpes as a baby and as a result is blind in 1 eye. His condition is NOT contagious Dr Riley says he most likely had the FVR virus early in life the herpes virus settled in the eye which is common and that is what damaged his eye. The herpes now lies dormant in his body he is FIV negative but stress or illness could cause an outbreak much like Shingles in humans. If another cat is immune compromised it could possibly be affected but that it is not contagious because he is not currently ill with the virus and he is now vaccinated to protect against it....
