Hello My name is Lucky and I am a cockatiel of unknown age. My foster parents named me Lucky because I have quite the story. 1 day I found myself all alone out in the middle of the street with cars and trucks driving really fast whizzing right past me I was soooooooooooo scared Luckily a school teacher saw me and rescued me from the danger I was in. I could have been injured or worse. This teacher really wanted to help me find my home so she contacted the cute people at Florida Parrot Rescue because she was sure they could help me. She was right I am now living in a home with my new foster mommy and daddy. The 1st thing they did was bring me to the vet to make sure I was OK (which I am ). All new birds in Rescue go to the vet before they are allowed to look for their forever home. Next they brought me to a great big room (cage) of my own with lots of yummies and toys. I love yummies and toys Then while I ate yummies and played with my toys they tried their best to find my home....
