Nobody would even look at me because I was an absolutely terrified little girl in the loud scary shelter. I hid underneath my food and water bowls hoping maybe all the noises and sadness would just go away. Then one day this lady came and she wanted to meet me (even though I was hidden) She took me out in the yard and I didn t want to go so I tugged on the leash and cried a lot. But then she opened the door and I saw the sun and I knew things were gonna be better So I started to show her my fun personality and she decided that The Last Resort was going to take a chance on saving me So then it turns out that the world is exciting and not scary at all I m actually very outgoing and not nearly as fearful as the people thought I would be. So now let me tell you about me so that maybe you ll think about taking me to your house and making me a part of your forever family. I m a black and tan (with a small patch of white on my chest) Australian Kelpie mix. If you know anything about that breed you will know that I am very smart (if it s okay to brag a bit). But I was left outside most of my life so I have a lot to learn. It shouldn t take long at all though. The vet says I am somewhere between 8-10 months so I have a lot of big puppy behaviors. I am 32 pounds now and no way to know for sure but will probably not be larger than 45 pounds. I LOVE toys they are the best things EVER I love to carry around stuffed animals. I also really like other dogs so much I love to kiss them and play with them. My forever home should really have a fenced in yard and another playful dog that I can have as my best friend. Also because I m a youngster I can t go to a home that works all day during the week that s just too long for me to be left alone. I am working hard on my potty training but I do need to be taken out regularly and am doing well in a crate so far. I haven t been in my foster home long so foster mom says she will update this bio as she learns more about me. I am still also learning about walking on a leash but my foster mom says I will have this accomplished in no time at all. I am up to date on my shots and spayed.
