This is the Animal Description HeaderPLEASE READ JULIE S ENTIRE BIO BEFORE ASKING ABOUT HER. THANKS Julie is now an older girl but is still quite active and and does not show signs of slowing down any time soon Julie came to us after her former person surrendered her to a shelter in 2008. He loved her but he lived on a busy street with his fence facing the sidewalk and Julie was protective of the home and yard. She would bark at people passing by on her sidewalk and her dad felt that she would do best in a more rural spot or with younger folks who knew how to redirect her behavior. She is and was extra sweet to people when properly introduced but through a fence etc she feels that it is her job to be the protector. It is quite easy for us here at the sanctuary to introduce Julie to all new staff members with a bit of food for bribery and perhaps a quick walk....
