Hi My name is Bogey and I am an eighteen year old Blue and Gold Macaw. Before coming to live with my foster mum I had been in the same home all 18yrs of my life. Mum and dad got so busy that I was ignored for a very long time. Because of that I don t know how to interact with humans anymore so they decided I would be better off in a home that I could have the attention I deserve and in turn learn to love humans again. I like food and I suggest that when you approach me and offer me your hand in friendship it has food in it. If it doesn t well I hate to admit it but I might actually bite. But it s easy to keep me from biting like I said just offer me food ) I do scream a little but now I have these fun things called toys I don t feel the urge to scream as much as I use to. Still I am not suited to condo or apartment living. I wasn t on the best of diets before but my foster mum is sneaking in some healthy pellets....
