Pet Information CONTACT UHA ADOPTION COORDINATOR VIRI AT -----X OR AT --X(at)--- Description A4982263 Oso is an endearing 7-month-old white-and-tan male Toy Fox Terrier and Irish Terrier puppy whose owner surrendered him (we don t know why) to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 11th. Weighing 9 lbs Oso should really be called Yoda because of his ears which are huge and amazingly cute. He is a bit overwhelmed at being in the shelter and he s showing some timidness but once you approach him gently and let him know you re a good guy he is eager to please and just happy to be with you. He bonds quickly and he will likely gain confidence from learning how to walk expertly on leash and all the other puppy basics a young dog needs to know. With his puppy-vulnerability his sweet beard and his wisps coming out like surprises Oso is both scruffylicious and puppylicious We think that he will do best in a home focused on helping him decompress from being in the shelter which may mean a home without small children. He will make a terrific indoor pet and companion and we see him blossoming from a timid 7-month-old into a confident and happy adult dog.
