Romeo (Acc) - Male American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Romeo is a seven year old chocolate and white male American Staff. He was with his owner for two months and was given to owner by a family friend. Owner is no longer able to care for Romeo due to not having the time or space to care for him. Romeo has lived with three adults in his previous home. Around strangers he is friendly and will jump and engage in exuberant play. Romeo has spent time with a toddler and is described as relaxed and will lick the child and allow petting. He has not been around other dogs or cats. Romeo is housetrained according to owner and is walked twice a day. He is not bothered when his food is touched while eating and will watch and wait. He likes baths and when his teeth are brushed. When a stranger approaches his home he will hide and wait a few to come out and greet them. He is described as lovable and affectionate. Romeo has a medium activity level and likes to play with balls and squeaky toys. He has been kept only indoors and eats dry food Pedigree brand. He will pull hard while on leash. Upon intake Romeo was tense but was receptive to handling and petting. Counselor was able to collar scan and photograph. He had his tail tucked but showed no signs of aggression during the intake process.... More Info
