Quinn - Male Cairn Terrier Mix

Hi my name is Quinn and I am 2 years old. I am a Cairn Terrier mix. I was living in a Hoarders home but also used with 21 other dogs for breeding. When I was found by the State they took us all away and brought us to a high-kill shelter. My picture and story was brought to the attention of IAR Volunteers who rescued me. The day I was taken off of the transport I wasn t in the best of shape but after a couple baths and my foster Mom s TLC I am in much better shape. When I first came into my foster home my hair didn t look so good but with good food and some vitamins my hair is getting better. I am now living in her home with 4 other dogs some small and one big dog and I like all the dogs. I really like my foster Grandma because she is home all day long. I like to hang out with her. She lets me sit on her lap and I give her kisses. I am not afraid of people like you would think of some dogs like me. I like people and I like hanging out on the couch. I sit on the couch or the big bay window like a cat. I also like to follow you around the house too. I am a quiet boy that doesn t bark a lot and sometimes I get playful with the other little dog that came with me also from the Hoarders home. I am also not food aggressive and I know the word outside . I am learning my basic commands because I didn t learn that in my other home. I also didn t learn how to walk on a leash. Oh boy that was a very scary thing when I first had that on me but I am getting better with my leash. I get better every day learning new things but I am so glad I am no longer dirty and not living like I was. Rescue people really help little dogs like me.
