Izzy and several of her canine friends were rescued from horrific conditions down south but were rescued by Animal Rescue Corp (ARC). ARC saved over 200 dogs from puppy mills and hoarding situations in the Tennessee area during the month of November and safely arranged transport to trusted partners-like SSHS. SSHS received about 60 dogs from these rescue missions and are now all looking for a fresh beginning. To be members of a loving family where they will be cherished and adored. However since these dogs had a past of neglect and abuse all of these dogs will need emotional rehabilitation. They will all require house-breaking and some may need more help with obedience training and with food handling. An adoption counselor would be happy to discuss each dogs care needs and ideal home requirements with you before adopting so that you are prepared.
