Adele s story is a true testament to the fact that it takes a village to rescue each dog and in her case thanks to everyone involved Adele s story is no longer 1 of abuse and neglect but an example of resilience and hope. In Adele s previous home the dominant male dog with whom she shared a crate regularly attacked Adele completely unprovoked. He left her covered in bite wounds and scars and didn t allow her to eat so she was completely emaciated and malnourished. Growing tired of the daily fights her owner was planning to simply open the front door and let Adele out into the world to fend for herself. Thankfully a friend of the owner removed Adele from the home fashioning his own belt into a leash to get her to safety....
