Attractive Nicko has been in through a lot of change recently. His human passed away and he was separated from his other canine companions. A helpful neighbor gave him a home for about a month until Nicko was brought to MaPaw a couple of weeks ago and now his foster mom is getting to know him. So far she s told us that Nicko is very timid with humans and he s not too crazy about other dogs right now. He s doing very well with crate training and always lets her know when he needs to go out. Right now he seems to be more comfortable with women but could probably develop trust in men too. (We ve seen this positive development happen with other MaPaw puppies.) For the time being we think he would likely be happiest as an only dog. Foster mom noticed that his eyes are a little crossed which she says only adds to his cuteness. Nicko is a special boy who s looking for a loving forever home with a special human who has a gentle touch and will continue working with him as he learns to love his new life with you....
