Woody is a cool paint gelding that is fifteen hands and really stout. Hes huge boned and wears a one shoe. He was raised on a big ranch in Montana and has been used for every day ranch work. You can gather pen rope doctor drag calves to the fire and load trucks on him all day long. Hes broke to death and a pleasure to ride and use. He was used in their dude string as a lead horse for guided trail rides. Hes nice to ride in the mountains and goes wherever you point him. Hes been ridden in the Palo Duro canyon and in the Colorado and New Mexico mountains. Hell go through rugged terrain water up and down the mountains effortlessly and over the bridges. Hes comfortable riding in the arena. Weve used him to push the roping steers up the alleys. Weve been tracking and roping the dummy and live cattle around the arena. You could go on and make him a team roping horse if you choose. Hes a nice weekend trail horse if you go to the big organized rides. Hes just as comfortable in a large group as he is alone....
