Banjo 3-year-old male yellow Labrador 77 pounds Watch Banjo s video by clicking on the link above the images. Banjo came to Labrador Rescue from the Contra Costa County Animal rescue shelter. He d been found tied to a fence in downtown Richmond and his owner declined to come get him. The shelter found him to be very excitable almost all the time demand barking leash biting and jumping and humping and all-around unbridled energy. However after a short time with our own professional trainer evaluator (properly handling him) at the shelter he started walking nicely with me (on leash) taking food and looking up to see what I was communicating. Seems that this guy just needs some calm leadership and structure. We thought his original name Butterball was a bit unfitting so we ve renamed him Banjo. ...
