Cub is a young survivor of pigeon racing. S he was attacked by a hawk but lucky enough to get away and be taken to the animal shelter. A volunteer texted a photo and we saw that she was injured and so bumped her up to the top of our waiting list. Cub is an extremely lucky bird. Despite the wounds to both her wings she is healing and can still fly.
