Academic Coordinator for High School Exchange Students - Compens

We are seeking persons interested in becoming an Academic Coordinator. Academic Coordinators find American host families to host high school level exchange students complete family visits present orientations supervise students during their stay to include monthly online progress notes and organize one group activity per academic term. Positions are in Olympia Olympic Penninsula and all surrounding areas. Pay is as follows Place 1-5 students and each placement pays 700 Place 6-9 students and each placement pays 810 (beginning with placement 1) Place 10 plus students and each placement pays 920 (beginning with placement 1) Place 14 students for the next two academic school years and earn a trip to Germany. Fees are distributed between placement fee orientation online arrival report orientation and monthly supervision. Successful candidates like working with teens families schools and are interested in culture. They are involved in their communities such as church volunteering in their communities active in school parent booster clubs school sports 4-H youth groups. Time Commitment Networking to find families is the greatest time commitment. The number of families you find depends on how much time you would like to spend. Once you find a family First family visit takes about 1-1.5 hours Second family visit takes about 1 - 1.5 hours Organizing paperwork to submit takes 1 hour or less. Monthly supervision takes about 15 minutes per student placement. Group outings vary depending on what activity you wish to organize. Detailed training provided.
