Star is a 13yr old sheltie mixture. This lovable senior girl found herself at a crowded high kill impound facility and that is no way for a senior to spend her golden days. Star is great with other dogs and cats. This mellow girl is looking for a home that wants a nice couch companion to spend her golden years with. Star is housetrained. She is also kenneled trained. She is used to being crated when never her foster parents leave and at night. Star can be nervous in new situations. She will need a new home that understand it will take her a few days to fully trust them and open up to them. Because she needs slow starts with new people she would not do well in a home with kids as they may not understand this. Once Star has warmed up to you she is your best friend.
