OUTSIDE SALES PROFESSIONAL: ENERGY EFFICIENCY CONSULTANT - Compe

JOB SUMMARY The role of the Energy Efficiency Consultant is to develop new business on behalf of VEG in the Los Angeles County region. This includes identifying ideal businesses to contact based on criteria recommended by VEG and setting appointments to determine if they qualify for our free program. The Energy Efficiency Consultant will work out of his her home with full support from the corporate office in Orange CA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identifying the best businesses to contact and set appointments using any appropriate method you are most efficient and comfortable with. Conducting 2 4 appointments per day. Closing a minimum of 4 6 sales per month. Articulate the features benefits of VEG s service offerings. Present proposal to customer and close sale. JOB REQUIREMENTS Able to distill technical information in a user-friendly explanation. 3 5 years of outside sales experience (a plus but not required). Ability to cold call and develop effective sales strategies. Must be a self-starter driven motivated and you must be a hunter Ability to manage your own time and schedule efficiently. Ability to work out of home office. A valid driver s license proof of insurance reliable and professional vehicle.
