Purchasing Agent - Production Order Processing Vendor Selection Relations - Mansfield OH - JOB 18-00419 Salary Range 50K - 60K - Permanent Position with Benefits.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Purchasing Agent to do production order processing and coordinate with the Estimator to verify all materials are included in the estimates.REQUIREMENTSAssociate s degree is preferred. Bachelor s degree is desired. Seeking candidates that have a minimal of 5 years experience in purchasing and or combination as an assistant purchasing agent and some experience as a purchasing agent. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) Strongly prefer candidates that have prior experience doing purchasing or similar role working in the trade show exhibit display industry. Typical industry materials needed to be purchased are wood metal (tubes) and laminates. DUTIESWill be responsible for vendor selection and building and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Production Order Processing Coordinate with the Estimator to verify all materials are included in the estimates Purchasing of materials for on time delivery. Keep track of materials being shipped and received. Creating BOM s and distribution to department leaders. Reconciliation of purchase orders. Job reconciliation for scrap inventory Research pricing of bill of materials (BOM s) Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Salary Range 50K - 60K - Permanent Position with Benefits.
