Bailey 8 yr old Pinto gelding. 14.3 -Companion Only. Gets along with all horses but will do best with an experienced adopter. He first arrived feral and has made great strides but still is nervous with some routine care procedures. Bailey was surrendered to us in March 2013. He was an unwanted pony with neurological issues.. A local family had gotten him from PAL when they closed down their horse program the year before. The family thought they could fulfill their farmland assessment requirements by having a horse living on the premises. When they decided to move him on he was available for 3 months with no offers. We offered to take him to avoid his going to auction.Bailey spent 15 months in foster and has now been back with us since January 2015. His foster-time gave us time to see that his neurological issues are stabilized. He has not degraded at all during this time which indicates to me that the issue was most likely due to an acute injury and not disease or an ongoing debilitating issue. . I know it won t be easy but I m hoping there may be a loving adoptive home for him out there somewhere where he ll get the one-on-one attention he ll thrive on.... More Info
