Chester - Male Beagle

Chester is 4 yr. old boy who is house-trained and uses a doggie door. He is excellent with children and other dogs. He was found NE of Houston running loose with a female beagle. They were healthy and well fed but no one ever came to claim either of them. Chester is lively and should be able to shed a few of his extra pounds with diet and exercise. Chester is a very energetic boy and will do best with other dogs and or children who like to play a lot. He is very out-going and never meets a stranger. He loves his people attention but is very content to roam the yard and play with his other foster siblings. He is generally quiet but if all the other beagles are barking he does feel a need to join in. He loves to snuggle and loves to sleep with humans (if allowed) but be forewarned he does snore. He loves to go for walks and walks well on a leash. He will stay in a kennel but it hasn t been needed at his foster home because he is so well-behaved. He doesn t chase squirrels but we don t know what his feelings are towards cats. Chester is a sweet cuddly boy who will do well with an active family and will be a great playmate for any other dogs in the home.... More Info
