Barry - Male Russian Blue

Barry was found as a stray on a Navy base in southern Virginia. He is a handsome all-grey boy with a darker grey ringed tail -- and he is polydactyl on all four feet We think he has some Russian Blue in his heritage because of his coat and color. His personality is friendly and gentle. He purrs for a good head rub and petting but doesn t care to be picked up and held for too long as he prefers his feet on more solid ground. In his foster home he slept at the foot of the bed at night and while the humans are away in the daytime he often enjoys burrowing under the covers for his daytime naps. He also liked his cushy cat bed right on a window seat where he can pick up a sunbeam while surveying the birds and squirrels. He has a healthy appetite for both canned and dry food receiving canned meals twice a day and having free access to his kibble all day. In his foster home Barry was housed with two female cats and they got along fine. If he is adopted into a home with another cat there is still a proper introduction process that needs to be followed to ensure harmony among the cats.
